This intriguing single malt was distilled back in 1994 at The Speyside Distillery. We anticipated a very clean and delicate style, typical of this distillery, but were stunned by the complexity of this amazing malt. As with most well-aged whiskies, the majority of its flavour is derived from the cask, but what a cask it must have been. It's a unique whisky that we haven't seen much of before, we needed to add it to our collection.

Fruity notes occupy the nose but upon tasting you will uncover the complexities which pleased us so much. Adding a touch of water really opens it up and makes it an excellent all-rounder.

the Experience

Colour

Gold Brown

Nose

Fruity scents dominate, with aromas of plums, strawberries, raspberries, and peaches. Cinnamon spice also present.

Palate

Rich, complex, and intense. Ginger and turmeric spices provide a vibrant awakening. Flavours of plums, liquorice, and coffee beans also come through. Mouthfeel is rich and creamy.

Finish

Long and spicy, with a lingering presence of cinnamon spice.

Can’t wait !

I bought a bottle for my big birthday earlier this year and after talking to Nathan at Whisky Partners (that are part of Limited) he told me about the wonderful history behind this whisky - and to hold onto the bottle for a few more years!
Having thought about it for a little while I decided to buy another bottle so I could keep one and drink one 🤪 Thanks to all the staff for your help and advice .

Exceptional

As a passionate whisky drinker and collector, I had the pleasure of trying this whisky for the first time at a delightful event in London towards the end of last year. I was so impressed by its taste that I couldn't resist buying a bottle, especially with a lovely discount. After thoroughly enjoying that bottle, I decided to get a second one, and I must say, it has truly exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, it is one of the finest whiskies I have had the pleasure of tasting in recent years. The quality it offers, especially considering its price, is truly commendable. My first bottle

This was my first bottle I purchased for my collection , which has since been joined by another 3 bottles of Ben Nevis, waiting for that special occasion , that would be deserving to open the bottle, which I think is due this year , can’t wait
